چکیده

Ground-based, high-resolution bolometric (sub)millimeter continuum mapping observations on spatially extended target sources are often subject to significant missing fluxes. This hampers accurate quantitative analyses. Missing flux can be recovered by fusing images with that preserve structures. However, the commonly adopted image fusion approaches do not maintain simplicity of beam response function and try elaborate details yielded functions. These make comparison at multiple wavelengths straightforward. We present a new algorithm, J-comb, which combines high low-resolution linearly. By applying taper low-pass filtered combining it high-pass using proper weights, functions our combined guaranteed have near-Gaussian shapes. makes easy convolve share same Moreover, we introduce strategy tackle specific problem imaging 850 µm from present-date ground-based instrument taken Planck satellite overlap in Fourier domain. benchmarked method against two other widely-used combination algorithms, CASA-feather MIRIAD-immerge, mock star-forming molecular clouds. demonstrate performance J-comb algorithm is superior those algorithms. applied real observational data Orion A region. successfully produced dust temperature column density maps ?10? angular resolution, unveiling much greater than previous results. python code release implementation available https://github.com/SihanJiao/J-comb .

Multi-focus Image Fusion Using Spatial Frequency and Genetic Algorithm

We introduce in this paper a region based multi-focus image fusion algorithm using spatial frequency and genetic algorithm. The basic idea is to divide the source images into blocks, and then select the corresponding blocks with higher spatial frequency value to construct the resultant fused image. GA is brought forward to determine the suitable sizes of the block.

Image Fusion with Spatial Frequency

A process is designed to fuse multiple images of the same scene to produce an image that contains less noise and more information. First, the speckle noise is removed. Second, histogram equalization is applied to expose details and maximize the information content of the image. Third, images are registered to prepare for fusion. In the fourth step, we apply our new pointwise spatial frequency m...

Study of Different Image fusion Algorithm

Image fusion is a technique that integrate complimentary details from multiple input images such that the new image give more information and more suitable for the purpose of human visual perception. This paper presents a review on some of the image fusion techniques (simple average, simple minimum, simple maximum, PCA, DWT). Comparison of all the techniques concludes the better approach for it...

Thinking in Different Ways to Combine Fusion with Fission

The common goal of CTR, but in particular of ICF, is low yield-high gain. Fission triggered large TN explosive devices meet the second but not he first of these conditions. These devices depend on the rare isotopes U235, Pu239, or U233, but for them the fusion energy output greatly exceeds the output from fission, limiting the fallout. In thinking about different ways to combine fusion with fis...

Multifocus image fusion using region segmentation and spatial frequency

Image fusion is a process of combining complementary information from multiple images of the same scene into an image, so that the resultant image contains a more accurate description of the scene than any of the individual source images. In this paper, a new regionbased multifocus image fusion method is proposed. The motivation of our proposed method lies in the fact that region-based image fu...
